Quote: "I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, but that doesn't stop me from being shocked at what people do. But one thing I have never seen be spiteful just to be is animals. So why not bring them closer to their human counterparts who need their true help. I have seen a lot in my time, but I am striving to change as much bad as I can."

Mini Bio: Feathers was a former fighter in the army. From his parents' early admission of learning, Feathers became fearless at a relatively young age. He was told he was God's Mercy and must strive to be perfect. On a fateful day is when the 'spell' was broken, and he was able to realize he didn't want to work in this line anymore. Feathers was given a service animal to help, and from that day forward, he knew where his heart truly was. He began to volunteer at animal shelters, learning the ins and outs of animal handling and how to help raise them. Feathers then happily threw his savings to opening his own little animal shelter. This was no small feat. He was almost told 'no' by multiple people, but he knew where he belonged. He went to different shelters, adopted different baby animals, and began to train them into service animals. He was happy, and so were his first customers - other angels whom he used to work alongside. They, at first, sort of laughed that he gave up so much, but shortly after, they gave it up, too. They joined his service shelter, and the rest became history.

Feathers has no issue teaching others how best to train service animals. He has seen the amazing turnaround that he had because of his faithful animal 'Wings' (nickname), and he is beyond thankful. Wings even helps train other service animals using the skills it learned to help others. Feathers is excited to see the turnaround from them learning. While, at first, only veterans of the army were adopting the service animals, soon word spread that Feathers was offering them to those in need. Feathers became a non-profit, essentially, and began to train animals for anyone who needed it. From having young animals brought to him to training young animals he finds, Feathers is up to his ears in training. But he is definitely not all work and no play. He frequently takes days off and lets his crew handle the teaching while he is gone. This is the time he takes to himself. From getting important meetings out of the way to just taking a self care day, Feathers knows just how to relax from training. Even the meetings he has are not ones to be taken too seriously. They are mostly just exchanging information and being on their way. These meetings probably last a good 30 minutes max before it is time to have the day to himself.

In companionship, Feathers is looking for someone who respects that he is no longer a fighter. While he has no issue protecting his family, he does not actively seek out fighting. Actually, he would do well in setting up a defensive plan over actually doing any patrols or confrontations. He just prefers it that way. He knows his past and knows he prefers his future. While he still does certain things, spar, box, and so on, he does so just to stay in shape and not to hone in fighting skills. He jokes that he gets enough of that training when he trains animals for defense. In return, Feathers isn't really looking for something too particular. Mostly, he is looking for a place where he can rest his head at night that isn't filled with training animals. Since his shelter has a spare room in the back, he has just decided to reside there versus getting another space. That isn't to say he would only use your home for a bed. In fact, he has no issue teaching some of your spirit animal companions more ways protection using means he already knows. He also has no problem adopting a small animal (or animals) for those who wish to have a service animal for whatever their needs are. He is willing to help and enjoy his time with his companion.
